Thank you for letting us be your home during your stay with us! When moving out of your unit, it is imperative that you follow our move-out process to avoid charges.

Move-Out Procedures

  1. Log into your online portal to check your move-out date. Your online portal will show your lease end date and any remaining balances that will need to be paid before the end of your lease. If you choose to move out early, you are still responsible for all charges until your lease end date.

  2. Turn in all door keys, mailbox keys, and parking permits to our office. You will need to drop these items off at 1709 N Walnut Street, Muncie, IN 47303. Failure to return your keys can result in a fine. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KEYS IN THE UNIT.

  3. Give us your forwarding address. We will need your forwarding address for out records and to send any further documentation or communication.

  4. Take all utilities out of your name (including phone and cable), effective on your lease end date. Even if you are moving out early, your utilities must remain in your name until your lease expiration date.

  5. Turn off auto-pay on your portal. You will need to turn off auto-pay if you have it turned on through your AppFolio online portal to avoid any automatic charges after your lease end date.

  6. Clean your unit so that it is in the same condition as when you moved in. Make sure to leave no items behind. Don't forget to clean out any storage units, sheds, or garages if you have them. Any items left behind will be trashed out.

Failure to vacate the property by 12pm on the date of your lease expiration will result in a $250 per day fine. Please refer to Section 1.14 for more information on charges associated with move out.
