Each lease comes with a utility addendum that outlines what charges are associated with the lease and who will be receiving the bill from the utility companies.
Utilities
Every lease is sent with a separate utility addendum that outlines what utility charges are associated with the lease. There is a chart at the top of the page that shows what utilities should be in your name, and what utilities will be charged through our bill back system. If there is an X in the box for the utility, that utility will be put into your name. If there is charge in the box, you will be paying MTPG for that utility at a flat rate on our bill back system. The bill back system leaves the utility in MTPG's name, and you will be charged a flat rate.
Below this chart are other charges associated with the utilities. There is a separate trash charge, and an administration fee that covers the bill back system.
What does this mean for you?
You will need to check your lease before move in to determine what utilities you need put into your name before your move-in date. You can also reference the utility addendum for a more in-depth breakdown of the charges associated with the lease.
