Section 2.11 discusses what happens to the lease if residents need to terminate due to military service.

Military Personnel

Due to the Civil Relief Act, residents that are engaged in active military service may terminate their lease at any time with a 30 day notice. They must pay a full monthly rental payment for the month following this notice. If the individual is in a joint lease, the lease is only terminated for the resident engaged in military service and only their portion of any security deposit can be returned at that time. The lease will remain in effect for all other residents.

What does this mean for you?

If you find yourself needing out of your lease due to military service, you are able to do so by giving us a 30 day notice and paying for the following month. If there are other residents on the lease, only you are able to end the lease for military service, and the lease will still stand for the other residents.
