Section 2.9 outlines who is responsible for lawn care and snow removal at the property.

Lawn Care

MiddleTown Property Group is responsible for lawn care at the property. If you believe your lawn needs serviced, you can submit a work order to let us know. Be sure to keep yards clear for our maintenance workers, and to pick up any items.

Snow and Ice Removal

The responsibility of snow and ice removal is determined by how many units are at the property. If there are more than 12 units, MTPG is responsible for snow and ice removal. If there are less than 12 units, the residents are responsible for snow and ice removal unless communicated otherwise. If snow and ice removal is not performed by the residents when necessary, MTPG will perform this service and bill the residents accordingly. MTPG makes no guarantee on when these services can be performed due to varying weather conditions.

Getting Authorization

Residents should not perform lawn care or snow and ice removal without written authorization from MiddleTown Property Group unless it is stated in the lease that they are responsible. MTPG is not responsible for work completed by the residents without written authorization.

What does this mean for you?

Unless stated otherwise, you should follow the stipulations of the lease regarding lawn care and snow or ice removal at the property. If you would like to perform any of this yourself and are not authorized, make sure to obtain authorization before doing any work.
