How can I use other spaces at the property?

Section 2.8 outlines how other spaces at the property—like balconies, patios, and basements—can be used at the property, and what is prohibited when using those areas.

Balconies and Patios

No items should be hung from balconies or patios. Nothing should be dropped or thrown over the balcony at any time. Only furniture that is made for these areas should be used. Grills are prohibited on balconies due to local fire code.

Doors

No items should be hung from apartment doors. Nails should not be driven into wooden doors or trim. Damage to exterior doors caused by adhere items to them can be charged to the residents.

Basements and Other Areas

Residents should not access attics, roofs, and basements at the property. If laundry is in the basement, residents may use it for that purpose only. Basements should not be used for storage or habilitation.

Decorations

While we all love the holiday season, exterior holiday lights and decor must be removed after the holiday is over.

What does this mean for you?

You should refrain from putting anything other than appropriate furniture on patios and balconies. Use care when decorating, as to not damage any doors or leave decorations up for too long. Avoid areas that you are unsure you are able to access until you get confirmation from MiddleTown Property Group.
