Section 1.25 outlines the process for adding someone to the lease after it has been fully executed.
Adding Lessee(s)
If you'd like to add someone to your lease, there is a $150 fee to do so. If the rent is not up to market rent at the time someone is added, MiddleTown can increase all monthly charges. If the amount of residents exceeds the amount of bedrooms, a double occupancy month fee and utility rate can be assessed. All additional individuals must be screened by MTPG, and MTPG is not obligated to add anyone to the lease.
What does this mean for you?
To add someone to your lease, you'll need to have them apply and be screened and approved by MTPG. There is a fee associated with this change. Depending on how many bedrooms and people will be living at the property, other fees and increases may be assessed.
