Section 1.12 discusses the condition that the property should be kept, and what you can expect regarding your property.

Basements

MiddleTown can make no guarantee that properties that have basements will be free or water or moisture. Unfortunately, Muncie has some infrastructure issues that can cause flooding. As much as we try to prevent this with maintenance, we cannot guarantee these issues will not arise.

Overall Condition

The residents accept the condition of the property as is, as long as there are no issues that can affect health or safety. The residents should keep the property in good and clean condition throughout their residency. Any alterations that the resident would like to do must be approved by MiddleTown, including painting or other permanent alterations.

What does this mean for you?

You should keep your property clean and free of damage during your residency, or charges could occur. If you would like to make alterations to the property, be sure to reach out and get them approved before beginning.
