Section 1.11 outlines what occurs if the property you are leasing is not move-in ready on your lease start date.

Possession

Sometimes we need a little extra time to address any sudden issues that may arise at the property you are leasing. If, for whatever reason, the property you are leasing is not fully ready for move in, you will not be responsible for rent until it is ready. MiddleTown is not responsible for damages in this situation. Your lease will also not be voided if this occurs.

What does this mean for you?

You will not be responsible for rent during the time you are unable to occupy the property you are leasing, and your lease will still stand as it is prepared for you. We will notify you as soon as we can if your move-in date needs to be pushed back.
