Section 1.10 outlines how the property can be used and what areas are available. It also discusses common areas.

Use of Premise

The property can only be used as a residential dwelling. Any use beyond this is not sanctioned by the lease, and may result in a violation and further action.

Access to Other Areas

Access to other areas of the property, such as the basement, lawn/yard, garage, attic, and other storage areas must be approved. If these areas are not approved, they are considered off limits to the residents and should not be accessed.

Common Areas

Common areas must be kept clean at all times. Failure to maintain common areas is a violation of the lease and the house rules within it. This can result in fines.

What does this mean for you?

Using the property for anything other than a residence, like for business purposes, can result in a violation of the lease. Areas not defined as accessible on the lease are off limits to residents. If you are unsure if you can access an area or would like to obtain permission, you can contact our office.
