Section 1.7 of the lease outlines who can live at the property. Only those who are stated in the lease can occupy the property. If someone who is not on the lease is found to be living at the property, they will be considered an unauthorized tenant, and you will be fined $250 per incident. Housing an unauthorized tenant can also lead to termination of the lease. Visitors may stay at the property for a maximum of 3 days.

Subletting and Lease Takeover

Tenants are not able to sublease any portion of the property at any time. Anyone who wishes to live at the property must go through our application process and become an authorized tenant on the lease.

If a tenant would like to be released from the lease, they will need to contact our Resident Services department for possible options.

What does this mean for you?

To avoid any fees, it is important to adhere to the lease when allowing people to stay at the property. You also must go through the proper channels and processes if you'd like to sublet the property or termination the lease.
